Buffy rushed into cabin 9 and was pleased to see that it was empty. She set her bags down next to the dresser and walked over to the latter which led to the top bunk. She started to climb it when suddenly something grabbed her waist and pulled her down. Once her feet hit the ground, she turned around to see who grabbed her. She noticed that it was the brunette girl that was talking to Willow earlier by the car.

"What are you doing?" Faith asked, not taking her hands off of Buffy's waist. Bonus, my cabin mate is a little hottie.

"Uh, I was just heading up to the top bunk! You know, cuz I got here first and all," Buffy replied, not taking her eyes off of the girl's face.

"Oh I see," Faith said with a smirk, her hands still on Buffy's waist. "But the thing is that I wanted the top bunk, and I usually get what I want." Faith's voice was low, almost at a whisper. Buffy didn't really know what to do. She wanted to think up a clever come back, but all she could really focus on was that Faith was only inches apart from her. She wasn't exactly sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing.

"So, I'm guessing you're Faith," Buffy said. She couldn't really come up with anything else to say.

"Yup, that's me. And you're Buffy Summers right?" Faith asked. She took her hands off of Buffy's waist and held one out for Buffy to shake. Buffy took the hand in her own and shook it briefly before letting go. "Do you mind if I just call you B? I don't really want to call you Buffy!"

"What's wrong with Buffy?" Buffy asked. She always hated it when people made fun of her name. She knew that Buffy wasn't the most popular name in the world, but it was incredibly annoying when everyone pointed it out to her.

"No, nothing. It's just not really a common name. Plus, it is rare that I call someone by their first name anyway. So yeah." Faith could tell by the look on Buffy's face that she was a little upset.

"Well, it's not like Faith is exactly a normal name either. And what about your last name? Do you have one or not? I thought you had to register to the camp with a first and last name," Buffy replied, clearly annoyed that Faith was also pointing out the same thing that everyone else does about her name.

"Chill out B. I wasn't trying to offend you or anything. I was just askin'! And no, it's just Faith. No last name! Ok?"

"Yeah, ok. So, about the top bunk!"

Tara sat in cabin 6 waiting for her new cabin mate. Tara had been coming to this camp for the last 4 years. She always looked forward to summer holidays for that was when she was able to get away from her brother and father. Her mother had died when she was 10, and her brother and father took it out on her. This caused her to be very shy around people. So she sat in cabin 6, waiting nervously for Willow. Willow Rosenberg, her new room mate. She decided that she really liked the name. It was the kind of name that her brother Donnie would probably make fun of, but she thought it was pretty.

She sat there for ten minutes wondering when Willow was going to show up. She decided not to take a bed in case Willow wanted a specific one. I wonder what she will be like. I hope she's not mean, or all popular and snooty. I hate it when I get stuck with the... popular, snooty people. Tara's thought was interrupted by the cabin door opening. Here we go.

"I'm sorry I'm all with the lateness," Willow said while setting her bag down on the floor. Tara recognized her from the whole ‘running into her and knocking all the stuff out of her hands' incident. "Oh hey, it's you," Willow said, obviously pleased that this was Tara.

"H-hey. I'm guessing that you're W-willow," Tara said, kicking herself internally for her stutter. Great going Maclay. She's going to think you're a total nerd.

"That I am. And you're Tara right? I got to tell you, I've always loved the name Tara!" Willow held out her hand for Tara to shake. She wiped her hand on her jeans before taking Willow's hand.

"Th-thank you very much. I uh... I didn't take a bed cuz I wasn't sure which one you wanted," Tara said while letting go of Willow's hand. She has really soft hands.

"Well, which one do you want?" Willow asked. Aw, she wanted to know which bed I wanted. That's so sweet.

"Oh, it d-doesn't matter to me. It's whatever you're more comfortable with. Uh, you can take the top if you w-want."

"OK, how about we thumb wrestle. Winner get's the bed of their choice," Willow said while holding out her hand again.

"S-sure. Sounds good to me. Which bed do you want if you win?" Tara asked while grabbing Willow's hand for the second time that day.

"Ha ha. I don't know. I don't really care. Which one do you want?" Willow didn't want to choose the bed that Tara wanted.

"Um, I still don't know. Ok, how about rock, paper, scissors? Ready? 1,2,3." Tara picked rock while Willow chose paper.

"Yay, I won! I like winning. It makes games much more fun. Wait, which one did I win? We're getting nowhere with this." Willow smiled. This was actually kind of entertaining.

"Haha, yeah. Umm, o-ok. How about w-winner gets top bunk. Ok?" This time Tara chose paper and Willow chose scissors.

"Yay, I won again. I guess I'm on top. Wait no, I mean I'm on the top bunk, not on top as in the sexual on top, cuz I know that's what that sounded like. I mean that would be weird. Not that there's anything wrong with with being with you cuz you are a very attractive girl, it's just we just met, and I don't sleep with people I just met, not that I would sleep with you if I did know you better. Oh, but not because there is anything wrong with you, I just don't want you to think I go around sleeping with everyone, and you might get weirded out if I said I did want to sleep with you. Not that I do, cuz, you know, again, we just met. Ah, I don't really know what I am saying, and now that I just made a complete fool of myself, and probably offended you about eight times in this little babble fest of mine, I should probably go. Sorry about that. I tend to just keep talking when I say something stupid, and get nervous." Willow blushed. Smooth. We have a nice game of who gets the bed, and you ruin it by babbling on about sex. Tara had never heard so many words in her life. She had to admit that it was quite entertaining, and also quite cute. She noticed that Willow was really embarrassed and figured that she should say something. "H-hey, I get what you meant. Don't be embarrassed. I get nervous and s-stuff a lot too. Except when I s-say something I wish I didn't say, I usually get all quiet instead of t-talking. It's actually kind of c-cute. You don't have to go"

Wow, I didn't scare her off. She is impressive, and did she just call me cute? "Ha ha, ok. So, uh. Tell me about yourself."
