"So... I guess she just came all the way over here for a phone book?"

Tara tried to hide the goofy grin that threatened to streak across her face. Her attempts were useless.

"As a matter of fact... yes."

Doug raised a questioning eyebrow and studied the blonde carefully. He could see the faint blush coloring his friend's face. This was gonna be fun.

"Well... I see..."

Tara eyed Doug and waited. She knew that he wasn't going to give up that easily.

"And you're gonna stop by and pick it up later... ?"

Tara nodded and began looking through her planner... again. She wasn't going to get away that easy.

"Because we don't have any extra's in here... and we really need to get it back..."

Doug's voice dripped with sarcasm and it was all Tara could do not to throw something at him.

<Maybe a spit ball...>

"Well it does have all my numbers listed in the back and..."

Doug threw his hands up as if surrendering.

"Hey... no need to explain to me... if you want to reach out and touch somebody... go for it."

"Doug!"

"You know what they say... let your fingers do the walking..."

Tara was just about to say something when Doug's face went from an evil smirk to a more serious scowl.

"There hasn't been any finger walking has there..."

Tara tossed her planner on her desk and crossed her arms. She could only stare in disbelief at her best friend's humor.

"Well... where should I start..."

Tara tapped her foot on the hard wood floor and took a deep breath.

"First of all... she did come over for just the phone book... secondly... Yes! We kissed... thirdly... it's none of your business if there has been any finger walking... running or reaching out to touch anyone..."

Doug dissolved into a fit of laughter. The look on the blonde's face was priceless.

"Mac... you should see your face..."

More laughter rang out through the office and before long Doug was wiping the tears from his eyes. Tara couldn't help it, Doug's laughter was infectious and after seeing Willow no amount of teasing could have dampened her day.

The two handlers laughed until they could laugh no more. It was turning out to be a great day.

"Mac... listen... you know I'm just teasing... right?"

"Yeah..."

"Well... I know you have waited... for the right person to come along... and I get a feeling this could be her..."

Tara smiled a heartfelt smile at the tall guy.

"But you don't have to rush into anything... I..."

Doug didn't know exactly how to put into words what he was feeling.

"I just don't want to see some city slicker coming in here... sweet talking ya... and then breaking your heart..."

Tara walked over and gave the big softy a hug.

"You are the sweetest thing ever Dougie... thank you for looking out for me..."

"Well... your welcome"

Doug smiled as he let go of the blonde and headed for the stairs. He turned and gave Tara a mock glare.

"And don't let that "sweet" thing get out... I've got a reputation ya know?"

Tara just smiled and made a motion as if locking her lips and throwing away the key.

"Your secret is safe with me..."

Doug headed downstairs and as soon as he was out of sight Tara closed her eyes and let out a deep sigh. Visions of Willow danced through her head.

<Those soft lips... mmmm... those green eyes... aaahhhhhhh... that red hair...>

Tara opened her eyes and put her hands on her hips and declared to the empty room.

"She's a Goddess."

The planner became forgotten... the vendors a distant thought. It was Thursday afternoon and Tara had never been so excited about picking up a phone book in her life. She smiled as she couldn't help but hum.

"Reach... out... reach out and touch someone... reach out... reach out and touch someone..."
