Willow watched as Tara walked the stables wide-eyed with excitement. The look on the blonde's face was worth more than the red head would get for closing the deal with DBG's new client in the morning. And that was going to be a pretty penny.

"You like?"

Tara locked eyes with Willow, grinning ear to ear.

"I love..."

Tara reached out and grabbed Willow's hand. She just needed to be touching her. Plus she knew that Willow was probably feeling a little shaky being closed up with so many horses and so few exits.

"Ohhhh... look at you..."

Tara stepped closer to a stall that housed a white face mustang. Slowly, she reached out trying not to spook the animal. The horse snorted but curiosity carried him to the edge of the stall. Long fingers scratched a sniffing nose.

"you're so cute... yes you are..."

Willow couldn't help but grin as Tara rambled on in baby talk to the tall horse.

"yes... you are... all with the white face... such a pretty boy..."

Just then another horse two stalls down made his presence known. Tara squealed with delight as she walked down and discovered a black and white paint much more eager to receive attention. Willow just allowed herself to be pulled along, making sure she knew where all the exits were in case they decided to stampede.

"Isn't he beautiful Willow?"

Willow looked up into the big brown eye looking right at her. The horse bobbed its head as if agreeing with the blonde on her observation.

"Yeah... beautiful... and big."

Tara turned and looked at her lover. She smiled before leaning in and capturing two delicious lips. Willow lost herself in the softness of Tara's kiss. Slowly the blonde released Willow's lips... but not before playfully biting her bottom lip.

"Thank you for doing this for me..."

"You're welcome..."

The two women stood staring at one another... lost in a whirlwind of thoughts and feelings. Suddenly, Tara stumbled forward and Willow found herself with an armful of Tara.

<Oh... this is nice...>

Tara began to giggle as she looked back over her shoulder at the paint who had nudged her just enough to cause her to fall into Willow.

"Jealous much?"

The paint just snorted as it bobbed its head again.

"He pushed you?"

"Yeah... can you believe it... ."

Willow smiled as she wrapped her arms around Tara from behind, keeping a safe distance from the horse.

"Well... .just goes to show he knows where you belong..."

The two girls shared another kiss before walking to the end of the stable. Several stalls were empty... but the ones that were full proved to be a joy for the blonde and for Willow.

Willow squeezed Tara's hand as they made their way to the front of the barn.

"Do you want to go up in the helicopter?"

The blonde looked over and grinned at Willow. Her answer shining brightly in her blue eyes. Willow giggled as she reached out and tucked a stray strand of blonde hair behind Tara's ear.

"I'll take that as a you-better-believe-it kinda answer..."

They made their way over to the phone and called up the main office.

"Yeah?"

"Ummm... hi... this is Willow Rosenberg... I was told to call and let you know when we were ready to go up in the helicopter..."

Tara glanced down the stables one last time. There were several little horsie heads leaning over and looking back at her.

Willow never took her eyes off Tara as she listened to the guy on the other end of the phone.

<She's so beautiful... and all mine...>

Tara's eyes seemed to sparkle and Willow could easily imagine what Tara would have looked like as an eight year old... waking up early on Christmas and discovering a tree piled high with presents. All Willow could do was make a wish that the rest of her life could be spent just like this.

"Great... we'll be right over..."

Willow felt her breath catch as Tara turned and looked at her.

"Do we get to go up?"

Willow could only nod her head as her lips found their way to Tara's. She couldn't stop herself. Those lips seemed to call to her... kiss me Willow... And so she did. It would take a few minutes for the helicopter to be ready anyway.

<What's the rush... we've got all day...>
