CHAPTER EIGHT: WHAT'S YOURS AND WHAT'S MINE

Author: Crimson Vampire Goddess
Rating: R
Disclaimer: Okay, so I borrowed most of the characters and the plot. But the new settings came from my own mind! *indignantly*

Tara had cried herself to sleep after the doctor had left. She was sure she had. Yet there she was walking through a thick fog. Following two voices that seemed to draw her in; both were oddly familiar but each brought forth different emotions. One brought about a warm sense of safety and love while the other brought forth a distinct sense of dread.

"Hello? Can anyone hear me?" She called. Suddenly she found herself in an old graveyard about a meter away from two figures talking to each other.

"W-Willow?" Tara said in shock; struggling to move forward. The air seemed to thicken around her holding her back. Looking up she saw the stranger caressing and kissing Willow. Her blood boiled as she watched him slide Willow's bra strap over and begin kissing her back and shoulder. She watched as Willow slowly leaned back into him. Tara could have sworn something inside of her had broken at that moment. She stopped struggling against the unseen force holding her. Tears formed in her eyes as she watched the intimate display. She looked down unable to watch any more only slightly surprised to find herself kneeling on the ground.

"Willow..." She whispered through her tears. 'How could she? She said she loved me. She vowed to be with me always... to be...mine.' Tara thought. 'Mine, she's...mine.' Her eyes hardened the steely blue looking up to see Willow pulling away.

"Mine." She whispered.

"WILLOW!" The call echoed throughout the otherwise silent grave yard. A look of recognition spread over the red heads face. Turning she saw a blond woman struggling to get to her.

"Tara." She whispered as she took a step towards the struggling woman. A hand reached out and grabbed her before she could move any closer. Looking up she looked into the face of Samael.

"It's a trap." He said simply.

"DON'T YOU TOUCH HER!!!" Tara shouted doubling her fight against whatever it was that was keeping her from Willow.

"Willow. Willow, listen to me. I'm you're wife; I love you I would never hurt you. I...I need you. Please...come back to me." Tara said praying she could get through to her wife. Willow looked from Samael to Tara and then back looking very confused.

"Don't you see? They've been tricking you." Samael said tightening his grip on Willow's arm.

"You're hurting me." Willow said trying to pull back.

"You're mine to hurt." Samael replied, a wicked grin forming on his face. Willow twisted her arm out of his grip and, ignoring the shooting pain in her stomach, ran over to Tara. Grabbing Tara's hand they both began to run as fast as they could away from Samael; his maniacal laughter ringing in their ears.

"How do we get out of here?" Tara questioned breathlessly as they ran.

"Well, we got here through the fog so I'm guessing that's how we leave." Willow said leading them into the thick fog. A light headed, dizzy, tingly feeling took over both women as they ran deeper into the fog. Soon both women had passed out.
