"Sweetie," Anya said bringing Buffy out of her hug with Tara. "Xanders stuck in traffic. He wont be her for another thirty to forty minutes." she gave the smaller blonde a sad smile and patted her arm.

"It's okay," Buffy replied trying to force a smile onto her face. "We can stay here until her shows. I'll be fine." she took a seat at the table and took a long swig of her beer that she purchased a couple minutes prior. The two friends followed suit but only Tara chanced looking up at the stage.

On stage Willow and Spike were in a heated discussion. They were standing still with their backs towards the crowd. Ted the manager looked on with anger as he had paid them good money to come play there tonight and Faith, well she just looked on with interest.

"What am I gonna do Will? She's here!" Spike yelled in a quit whisper which amazed the redhead.

"Just play on like it doesn't affect you. Like her leaving didn't hurt," Willow said to Spike acting like she was giving him advice but in reality she was giving herself advice. And trying not to let her memory get the better of her and not reminisce the time Tara left.

"I'm sorry mate," Spike placed his hand gently on the redheads shoulder for comfort. "I now how much it hurt you when Tara left." Even though Willow never told anyone she had feelings for the blonde Spike and Faith had been able to figure it out. After all it wasn't hard when Willow's songs turned even bitterer after the absents of the blue eyed blonde.

"Alright, yeah. Bollocks," she whipped his head back and forth as if to clear his head. "I'm acting like a little bloody school lade."

"Sooooo," Faith shouted out to them "you lovers finished with your little Ron-day-vou cause Ted is getting awfully pissed," she let out with a wide tooth smile.

"Yeah," Willow said looking at her "skip song two and three, go right to five then go to four. On five start of with a fast tempo then drop back to normal." She told Faith before taking her position next to her microphone.

"ONE TWO ONE TWO READY GO!" Willow yelled into her microphone starting the song

Faith started the song just how willow asked, fast at the begging then bringing it back to regular rhythm. Before both the brunette and the redhead could take up singing the first course.

WILLOW &FAITH:
Too tough to make some friends
Too tough to make some friends
Too tough to make some friends
Too tough to make some...

'Well that is certainly true' Tara thought to herself with a slight smirk. 'Never where one to make many friends with your bad girl attitude where you Willow?'

SPIKE:
Friends always call you
And lie on the phone
Like they think that you're tolerant too
But if they could see
What is goin' to be
And that you're actually left all alone

I'm trying to prove
What I do's not for you
It's for me

Too tough to make some friends
Too tough to make some friends

WILLOW: Hey!

SPIKE:
Well everything changes
It's all part of the plan
Planning them out of my life
And all I can do
When I'm thinkin' 'bout you
I just switch to channel two

Well I'm trying to prove
What I do's not for you
It's for me

Too tough to make some friends
Too tough to make some friends

WILLOW: Hey!

WILLOW & SPIKE:
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

SPIKE:
I'm trying to prove
What I do's not for you
It's for me

'I really blew it with you didn't I' Buffy tussled with herself while looking down into her half empty beer that she cupped in her hand.

Too tough to make some friends
Too tough to make some...

Too tough to make some friends
Too tough to make some friends
Too tough to make some friends

WILLOW: Hey! Hey!

The final down beats of Spike and Willow's guitars brought the song to an end. The crowd erupted in an uproar of applause and whistles. Spike still not daring to look at Buffy decided to play with his guitar and play some random notes over the amps. Willow being a little more adventures decide to take a chance an look over at the table to her right. Upon her brief gaze she notice Tara staring at her which caused her eyes to travel back towards the blonde. She gave the blonde a quick smile, which just happen to be the smile that she gave to women to make them sleep with her.

Click, click, click-click. Faith was starting up the next song but Willow stoped her by saying "Wreckoning" into the microphone. Quickly the beat changed to a much faster tempo and the dance floor filled up with gangly teenage punks pushing the regular dancers out of the small area.

WILLOW:
Broken glass all around you.
Try to hide but they find you every time.
Even with everything you try to do,
people can still look and see right through you.
Looking like you came from a magazine.
Regular Jockstar/Beauty Queen.
Covered in labels barely able to speak for yourself.
So you look and other people and help yourself.
You have your passport so you can be identified.
In case the most important thing is lost (your life).
Every chance you take, just to be satisfied,
is just another link in the chain of your wrecking ball.

As the song started to heat up the teenagers started to push and shove each into one another causing a giant mosh pit on the dance floor.

This is the wreckoning that you feel happening.
The wrecking ball destroying it all.
The wreckoning that you feel happening.
The wrecking ball destroying all.

The bullet inside of the smoking gun.
The knife in my back when I try to run.
The rain on the day's that I'm stuck outside.
The one to reveal when I'm trying to hide.

Buy this time Willow was slamming down pretty hard on her guitar. She gave a death glare to one particular blonde at the table to the left of her before resuming her posse. Her left leg stretched out with her guitar hanging between that one and her right leg which was slightly pushed back behind her. She quickly stopped her singing and spun the guitar so that it nestled against her back with the head facing towards the ground. Grabbing the microphone she started singing into it, her facial expressions increasing ten fold.

Mr. and Mrs. Popularity and the life of all the parties,
got to be the first to be the bad ones,
get fucked up and have too much fun.
Daddy's not here to hold your hand.
Time to buck-up and be a man.
Nothing was stopping you before.
Why stop now cause you're on the floor?
I'm sure your get your close up,
your fifteen minutes of fame and praise.
You're the talk of the town.
And every chance you took just to be glorified,
is just another brick in the wall that you're bringing down.

A brick in the wall that your bringing down.
A brick in the wall that your bringing down.
A brick in the wall that your bringing down.
A brick in the wall that your bringing down!!!

Slinging the guitar back into her grip she let Spike take over the chorus and took up playing they heavy metal part of the song.

And when you try to end destruction,
of the things that make you function,
you want no interruption.
And all because of all of your selfish assumptions,
I'm "acting out" this way.

You cause the eruption happening inside of me.

The bullet inside of the smoking gun.
The knife in my back when I try to run.
The rain on the day's that I'm stuck outside.
The one to reveal when I'm trying to hide.

This is the wreckoning that you feel happening.
The wrecking ball destroying it all.
The wreckoning that you feel happening.
The wrecking ball destroying all.

The band continued to play for another 25 minutes. After their gig they unplugged their instruments and started packing up.

"Oy let's go, maybe we can crash some high school party," Spike said picking up his guitar case.

"What's the matter Spike afraid of your ex?" teased Faith with a devilish grin.

"No! I just don't feel like getting into a bitch argument," he proclaimed using his hands to pretend they were Buffy's friends yelling at him.

"So you don't mind grabbing a beer with me and Will here then cuz you now high school kids don't through good party's, what with the cops busting them and all." She placed Willows guitar and her drum sticks in one of the many lockers they have in the back lounge. " lock your shit up and lets go."

As the trio walked out into the crowded club from the side door Willow felt a set of eyes on her. She took a quick glimpse out of the side of her eyes and notice Tara once again following her every move with her eyes.

"Grab a booth, I'll grab the beers." Willow waved off the other two band members so she could go to the bar alone hoping Tara would fallow.

As she got to the bar Willow ordered three beers but told the bar tender Mitch to make it "slow".

Obviously he knew what it ment as he gave her a cheeky smile and walked to his next customer. Turning around Willow lent her back up against the bar resting her elbows on the slippery surface. She slowly scanned the club for the blonde. As the women in question approached Willow turned her head to the right and over her shoulder hollering, " Yo, what's taking so long with those beers?"

"Willow!" the blonde said happily coming to stand in front of the redhead.

The redhead looked at the long for a long hard minute before giving her a puzzled look. "I'm sorry do I know you?"
