Disclaimer: Okay, so I borrowed most of the characters and the plot. But the new settings came from my own mind! *indignantly*

Willow woke once again in her hospital room. The last thing she remembered was Tara running to the door to get a doctor and then darkness. She must have blacked out.

"Well, it looks like you're up." Said a voice from the doorway. Looking up, Willow saw an elderly man walking towards her.

"I'm Dr. Stern. Apparently you were found in the psych ward; do you remember anything about that?"

"Yeah, I wanted to see my wife." Willow replied.

"You do know she's not permitted to see you, right?" Dr. Stern asked.

"No, I didn't. Why isn't she allowed to see me; and why is she in the psych ward?" Willow asked confused.

"The police suspect her of attempted murder and she had a mental breakdown after you were stabbed." Dr. Stern said carefully.

"What? Tara wouldn't hurt me; didn't hurt me." Willow said shocked that anyone would believe the gentle blonde capable of such a thing.

"Then who did?" Two female police officers had entered the room and now stood at the foot of the bed. Not sure what to say, Willow remained silent.

"Look all you have to do is tell us who stabbed you and we'll let your wife go." Faith said

"Good news Mrs. Rosenberg, You've been cleared of all charges and I hear you'll be getting out of here soon too." Faith said as she watched the nurse un-strap Tara.

"So why are you here?" Tara asked getting off of the bed.

"We need to talk to you about your son." Buffy said stepping forward.

"What about my son?" Tara asked glaring at the officers.

"He stabbed your wife and nearly killed her...he needs help. You are no doubt going to try and get him back?" Faith said calmly.

"Connor was afraid. He was in trouble and didn't know what he was doing. And, yes, I am going to get him back; there's no way I'd let him stay in foster care." Tara said angrily.

"You may need a very good lawyer. He's not in foster care; they have him in a special psychiatric ward for very young children." Buffy said studying Tara's reactions.

"WHAT?! Why?!" Tara shouted.

"He nearly killed his mother. It doesn't matter if he didn't know or didn't mean to; he still could've killed her. That and he hasn't said one word to anybody since; they couldn't put him in foster care. What if he tried it again." Faith said meeting Tara's glare.

"He. Wouldn't. Hurt. Anyone." Tara growled.

"He already has." Buffy said calmly.

"Yes; it was an accident and he's probably terrified and that's why he's not talking. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go see my wife and then I'm going to go get my son." Tara said stepping past the two officers.
